INVISIBLE LANDS

When you've got the desert at your back, climb up to the mountain, then descend along the spine. Over the sea, follow the ridge line of the nose and cross the border, without looking back.

In this performance, a cross between choreography and puppetry, bodies become landscapes for figures in exile. The miniature characters, filmed live, flee war or poverty. Traveling through desolate lands or fortified zones, these refugees tell us the story of their long migration, inscribed in the depths of their souls and bodies. The sadly ordinary story of thousands of exiles... at the very heart of their lives.
